Award-winning Ghanaian actor and politician John Dumelo has taken to social media to vent his disappointment at the government’s consistent excuses for the recent erratic power supply in the country.
“Whether it’s insufficient power generation or it’s inefficient distribution of power, dumsor is dumsor!” he wrote in a post via his official Twitter page. According to him the government’s excuses to defend and deny the fact that dumsor has crawled its way back into the normal livelihood setting of Ghanaian people is becoming to much.
He called on the government to accept the fate of things and stop been smart with their regular communication tactics. “Don’t be shy to admit it’s Dumsor,” he said.
John Dumelo urged the government to provide Ghanaians with a timetable schedule for power supply across the various towns and cities in the country so Ghanaians can plan their lives business.
Below is his statement to the government.
Whether it’s insufficient power generation or it’s inefficient distribution of power, dumsor is dumsor! The excuses for the power outages are becoming one too many. Don’t be shy to admit it’s Dumsor. Give us a timetable and let’s plan our lives and businesses around it. Thank u— MrDumelo (@johndumelo1) April 13, 2021
