GES postpones reopening date for SHS final year students

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has postponed the reopening day of school for final year students in SHS across the country.

The new date of reopening has been set to May 5, 2021, after it was previously set on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. The news was, however, made known in an official press statement issued by the GES on Tuesday.

According to the GES, the new date applies to all final students of both the single and double track schools.

“Management of the Ghana Education Service has considered a proposal from CHASS and has therefore revised the academic calendar as follows; 1. Reopening for Form 3 students has been rescheduled for 5th May 2021. This applies to all Form 3 students (single track and double track schools),” the GES said.
