It takes more than one viral song to reach the level of Sarkodie, Shatta and Stonebwoy- Mr Logic

Ghanaian entertainment pundit and artist manager, Mr Logic has urged Ghanaians to desist from comparing new artists to big Ghanaian artists.

The music-listening community in Ghana has a way of comparing new artists to big artists when they produce a number of hit songs and it’s distasteful considering the fact that these big acts have been maintained a certain level of consistency that these new acts are yet to achieve.

Speaking in an interview, Mr Logic expressed his disappoints in such ill comparisons saying “stop calling new artistes, new kings.”

According to Mr Logic, it takes more than one viral song to reach the level of Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and Shatta Wale who have produced several hit songs and have maintained a certain level of relevance throughout their musical journey.

He admonished Ghanaians to respect the big artistes and respect the new artistes as well, as “they grow through the ladder.”

“Stop calling new artistes New Kings. They are called new acts. To attain the level of Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and Shatta Wale is not easily achieved with 1 viral song. The journey is tuff so please respect the throne HEADS and these kids to grow through the ladder” Mr. Logic stated.
