Kiari Kendrell Cephus aka Offset is being sued by a rental company over a Bentley truck the rapper allegedly never returned after renting it.
According to the TMZ, per court documents filed by the rental company, Platinum Transportation Group, Offset agreed in a contractual arrangement in May 2020 that he would pay less than $600 per day to rent their new 2020 Bentley Bentayga.
However, the lease which was expected to end a few days time extended as Offset kept requesting extensions to his rental period.
Shortly after July 4, Offset informed PTG that he had no clue where their Bentley Bentayga was, and couldn’t recall who had it last.
The court documents revealed that he continued to make payments until the deal expired on July 25, but once the lease period was over, he stopped sending money and didn’t return the car.
Reacting on Offset’s disclosure of not finding the car PTG claims to have filed a police report to find the missing vehicle, but couldn’t produce evidence of the report upon request.
As such, PTG is suing the 29-year-old rapper who received a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ from wife Cardi B for his 29th birthday for financial damages, arguing that the absence of the Bentley Bentayga has resulted in more than $100,000 in missed revenue.
