Renowned Ghanaian political analyst, Nana Oteatuoso Kokobeng II has joined the infamous debate concerning the successor of the incumbent President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo come 2024 general elections on the ticket of the NPP.
According to him, it’s plausible for the incumbent NPP administration to approve Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as the flagbearer of the party come 2024 if the party wants to continue its reign in 2024.
Nana Oteatuoso Kokobeng argued that it’s not an “act of suicide” for leaders of the party to make it clear to Alan Kyeremateng that Bawumia is the next flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Voting for Alan over the vice president will cost the NPP because it will give the NDC an advantage in propagating their wild claim of the party dumping Bawumia as the party did to Alhaji Aliu Mahama.
“The time has come for us to make it clear to Alan that Bawumia is our next President… making such comment is not an act of suicide,” he said.
“I want to make it plain, after President Nana Akufo-Addo, Bawumia is the next President,” he added.
