Outspoken Ghanaian reggae artiste turned Radio Talk Show host, Abubakar Ahmed popularly known as Blakk Rasta has finally opened up about his infamous feud with Shatta Wale.
According to Blakk Rasta, the multiple award-winning dancehall artiste’s grudge with him was as a result of airplay after he refused to play all the four songs Shatta Wale sent him.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on Joy FM, the Barack Obama hitmaker revealed that, out of the four songs he received only one he played and that was the song he related to.
Detailing the whole reason behind his refusal to play the four songs, he indicated that the remaining three songs lacked lyrical content hence were noisy. He indicated that he wasn’t a fan of dancehall music.
Displeased by his refusal to play the remaining three songs, a pissed off Shatta Wale crossed him in traffic with Ara B and accused him of stealing his album cover art, Blakk Rasta also disclosed.
Blakk Rasta, however, asserted that he never gave Shatta the chance to mess around because he took all those events to be the result of youthful exuberance.
