Still Doing Good- John Dumelo Gifts An HP Laptop To A Brilliant But Needy Student Of The Ghana Medical School In Korle-Bu
John Dumelo, the multiple award-winning Ghanaian actor cum entrepreneur and politician has done it again as he has donated a brand new HP laptop to a student of the Ghana Medical School in Korle-Bu.
Apparently, the 20-year-old young man identified as John Yao Avu went viral last year December after he appealed for funds to enable him to continue his education at the Ghana Medical School after the University of Ghana increased tuition fees.
As a result of his unfortunate story, a campaign was raised on Facebook and Twitter to help raise funds to support his dream of becoming a Medical Doctor.
As a way of showing support, John Dumelo donated a brand new HP laptop to John Yao Avu to help in his studies.
Taking to Twitter to share photos of his brief engagement with young man, John Dumelo wrote, “Donated a laptop to John Yao Avu of the Ghana Medical School in Korle-Bu today. This is to aid him in his studies. Thanks @MacJordaN for sharing Yao’s story. Together let’s make Ghana a better place. #istilldey4u.”
