Samini Is Confused And A Liar- Shatta Wale Jabs Samini After His NPP Endorsement Song

CEO of Shatta Movement Empire, Charles Nii Armah Mensah aka Shatta Wale has taken a dig at his long time rival Samini after the latter recently made an endorsement tune for the incumbent Akufo-Addo led government in the wake of the highly anticipated December 7 polls.

According to the Suuru crooner, Samini is a confused individual and a liar considering the fact he once spoke against Ghanaian artistes endorsing political parties.

Speaking to Ike De Unpredictable on Kumasi-based radio station Angel FM, Shatta Wale said, “You told Ghanaians including your supporters that you will never endorse any political party. You condemned celebrities endorsing political parties, but now Samini has endorsed NPP.”

“He (Samini) is confused and a liar,” Shatta Wale bemoaned.

His remarks come after an infamous video of the Highgrade Family Records CEO speaking against celebrities endorsing political party has gone viral days after hitting the Ghanaian online social space.

In the video, the multiple award-winning reggae and dancehall artiste intimated that celebrities endorsing political parties are ending their careers since their supporters belong to different political parties.

Despite this past remark passed by Samini, he has endorsed President Akufo-Addo ahead of the December 7 polls.

Displeased by Samini’s hypocrisy, Shatta Wale said, “Supporters of Samini and Ghanaians shouldn’t trust Samini again for making a sudden U-turn on political party endorsement.”

“I will surely get time for Samini very soon because I won’t allow him to deceive Ghanaians. You told us you wouldn’t do it, but now you are happy doing it. Liar and confused Samini can never be trusted.”
