Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, popularly known as DaBaby, has lost his older brother after he committed suicide through self-inflicted gunshot wound, TMZ reports.
According to close sources who spoke to TMZ, DaBaby’s elder brother, Glen Johnson took his own life after he shot himself in the head on Tuesday in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Prior to his death, Glen shared a video of himself earlier in the day in a car with a gun, as he expressed his displeasure about how he has “been wronged in the past,” while crying.
DaBaby once spoke up about his older brother’s struggles on his 2019 lead single Intro from his second studio album Kirk, according to Rap-Up.
“My brother be thinkin’ that we don’t love him and let him struggle like we ain’t family Like I won’t give up all I got to see you happy,” he rapped on the track that debuted at number 17 on the US Billboard Hot 100 before peaking at number thirteen on the chart.
Despite the unfortunate happening, the BOP hitmaker is yet to react to the news of his brother’s demise. Glen reportedly left behind 3 daughters and a son.
